The eXciteOSA tongue stimulator is a daytime therapy that uses neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) to strengthen the tongue muscles. Obstructive sleep apnea occurs with airway blockage or collapse throughout the night. eXciteOSA works to tone the tongue and maintain the airway, eliminating episodes of apnea (non-breathing). There are 4 electrodes are made up of copper coated by silver, and the eXciteOSA mouthpiece is made of medical grade silicone. It should be replaced every 90 days.
